mudgee's unique accommodation experience

Your stay at Beverley House will be a memorable.

The House has been lovingly restored to its former glory over the past 3 years. Bill and Terry have a lifetime’s experience in restoring old homes and buildings – so have enhanced the beautiful period features without sacrificing comfort.

In a former life, Terry and Bill owned and operated Mudgee’s leading Antique Store. Despite no longer being in the antique business, they kept the best pieces and have filled the House with an interesting and eclectic mix.

Beverley House was once the fine old home of a leading Mudgee family. It then spent many sad years divided into flats. At last its true beauty has been revealed once again.

the apartments

You will receive a warm welcome to Beverley House and will start your visit to Mudgee in style with a tasty cheese/fruit platter and a crisp glass of Mudgee Chardonnay.

Beverley House has 4 apartments – 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. Our ground-level apartments have an additional external entrance to allow complete privacy. Guests are welcome to book out the whole house if they are planning a group visit to Mudgee or a family reunion.

Each apartment is extremely spacious with a fully operational kitchenette, dining/lounge area, queen-size bedroom area and ensuite. The kitchenette has cooking facilities and refrigeration if you would like to ‘do your own thing’ with your refreshments.

Each unique apartment provides a wonderful escape for 2 people.

The apartments are decorated individually with interesting and quirky pieces of art, sculpture and furnishings. They all feature ornate 11 foot high ceilings, traditional fire places and cedar skirtings and trim.

Our apartments are all air-conditioned to ensure your comfort whatever time of the year. Alternatively, if you like fresh air, all of the apartments have balconies.

As Beverley House and our apartments are non-smoking, guests are encouraged to use the balconies and enjoy the views.

With historic houses, such as Beverley House, they are not designed for wheel-chair access and are not suitable for children.
